The outer ring road coincides with a ring road set in 1884 by the first plan of Milan (the Plan Beruto), and that until the end of the Second World War has roughly bordered the urban extension of the city [7], so much so that this "new ring road" was defined by De Finetti the equivalent of a city wall, as in the Plan Beruto involved a waiver of the dialogue between the city and territory. It is also known by the nickname of trolleybus ring, because it is covered, with some variations, the trolleybus lines 90-91-92 that runs in both directions this ring, with a terminus in Piazzale Lotto (between avenues Elia and mile) and Via Isonzo (Piazzale Lodi). Opened at the end of the thirties as EC (external circular) is returned to service on the entire path to the threshold of the fifties. It has always been served by articulated means of large capacity philips hue and today enjoys philips hue a protected path that runs, with the exclusion of short sections, in its own seat. (Wikipedia) Too bad being at street level, the path is slowed philips hue at every traffic light and then make use of this medium too slow. The other day while I was aboard the ninety I realized what one uses to make a few stops, in practice we always philips hue stop. So, I thought back to my old dream, that instead of putting philips hue a trolley monorail, like the one which is located in Sydney. Would become a kind of underground, certainly less expensive and equally useful, some with very frequent trains, given the small size. Only drawback might be the passage under the Central station, but if at that point the track to bring in to street philips hue level, could go under the tunnel without philips hue problems. Certainly the streets at that point should be redesigned and locked, Via Soperga, Via Ferrante Aporti, Via Sammartini and Via Ponte Seveso, but not being of great ways scroll the problem could be overcome easily. As for the trees that surround the ring, I think that would be enough good pruning and without felling any tree. While instead of the road surface philips hue between these rows of trees you could lay a beautiful green lawn. Viale Monteceneri, would opt for the final demolition of the flyover (horrible artifact created in the fifties) and proseguirei with restoring the tree-lined avenue and monorail station. For a city more accessible and beautiful to behold. Below the images of the ring in some places, it is now and with an example philips hue of a monorail inserted photomontage
The monorail in Sydney will be shut down and dismantled shortly. Bad example to do ... I do not understand this false modernity that every time he pulls out the "monorail" ... if they never spread there will be a reason well. Maybe just nice to have a structure raised philips hue through philips hue the houses? maybe we should also cut all the trees on the ring? perhaps it would be better to put the simple priority at traffic lights with the trolley? or maybe put traffic lights and turn the limited capacity trolleybuses in a tram? Killed, I did not seem to have written who knows villainy. The intelligent traffic lights would be a nice solution, pity that in Italy are never even proposed. To cut the trees does not seem right to have written anything about it. It was only a proposal. October 31, 2012 13:54
But the monorail Sydney dismantle it because it has a city tour in streets too narrow. This proposal by Skymino you would find in a large, tree-lined street. I like very much. October 31, 2012 14:26
In Paris there are "banked" much older, and I do not think they are in disuse. Certainly not monorails, but more or less have the same impact. Perhaps the gentleman lives on one of these avenues, and as usual, nice but not better in my garden. October 31, 2012 15:08
I live in a completely different city but very familiar Milan. The intelligent philips hue traffic lights do not bring harm because philips hue motorists and then saw that there are not even put a monorail from the modest sum of 7 million philips hue to 800 million euro (very eye)? Is not it better a few dozen traffic lights cost enormously less especially since large areas covered by trolleybuses are currently undergoing improvements? But I know that the monorail is always an object of desire of all the architects, the category that is believed to be authorized expert also transport systems and graphic design combining often large disasters. We Urbanfile we are not architects, but observers urban. The monorail in question is only an idea without philips hue pretensions to be applied. Logical that the intelligent traffic lights are cheaper and certainly the fact that they are working to cors
