Pristina, 22 April 2011 (13:15) Supported by the ICO chief Pieter Feith, Gërguri Gani received the support of members of the Assembly to the governor of the Central Bank of Kosovo, for the remainder of the term left half after arrest the former governor of the bank, Hashim Rexhepi, on suspicion of corruption. Gërguri received 58 votes, while his rival Safet Merovci deputies took 15 votes, while 26 votes were invalid. flc The mandate flc of the CBK governor flc will be a continuation of the previous governor mandate until 26 March 2013. He wanted to cancel the competition and announced a new contest for governor of the Central Bank, because flc according to him, these candidates are in the race, will still continue with the same policies in CBK. Hasan has even announced that deputies have received letter from the ICO chief Pieter Feith, who recommends that voted for Gani GËRGURI estimates because it is the best candidate for the head of the CBK. "I ask members not to accept the vote, but the competition back to the Government and to open a new competition, if we want to have a bank with clean hands," said Hasan. However, by majority vote, the Assembly elected a new governor, having been appointed to this post, GËRGURI, who for ten months has exercised the post of governor of the CBK. Unlike in today's session the Assembly has to review the annual report of the Independent flc Media Commission in 2010, the annual report of the Public Procurement Review Body for 2010, the annual report of the Public flc Procurement Regulatory Commission in 2010 and report Kosovo Council for Cultural Heritage for the period March 2009 - December 2010.
