I have a 3 way switch 3 mr16 halogen bulb system in the hallway of my house. The bulb don't last past a few months before they burn out and there is a loud buzz in the system. The halogen bulb in my bath room last years. Thanks for the help.
Hard to tell though lantern whether this is a fundamental lantern problem with the designs, lantern going cheap on the designs (like so many things lantern these days) and using undersized wiring and transformers and such, or if it is just more shoddy product from China.

The manufacturers are wasting a lot of money selling junk - I guess there are not many people who write the install date on their bulbs and keep track of receipts to get replacements lantern under their warranty.
