Recent Comments industrial ceiling fan no light on CREE latest three-way LED bulb can save 90% energ

U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) released the latest CALiPER test results recently, and found that only a small number of LED Lighting Facts labeled MR16 lights performance equal with 50W (12V) halogen lamp.
The report notes that only a few MR16 LED lamps emitting angle and center beam intensity meet Energy Star center beam minimum standard, this standard adopts 50W halogen MR16 lamps and light-emitting angle of 40 degrees as benchmarks.
While in the past three years, the LED Lighting Facts labeled MR16 lamp increased slightly, but the proportion among the lamps fell from 11% to 4% in three years, while the new MR16 LED lamp average light output (luminous efficiency) hardly changed in the past two years. Although MR16 LED lumen output and power were growing stability in the past few quarters, there is not much impact to the luminous efficiency.
