This morning Sean and I presented a very interesting case; Grokker! It sounds like a weird little reptiles, but it is an all-in-one search software that arranges search results in clusters and, quite especially interesting, presents search results in a graphical "map". The map can be manipulated, the parts of the search akari is Uinteresant can slættes, own groups can be entered, ect When you are satisfied with the card can be e-mailed to the user you have made the search for the bibliographic akari records can be exported to RefWorks ect I think this case will be very useful as an alternative akari to the very text-based results lists we otherwise see.
We got Grokker presented by SunLibraries sites where there could be sought through Grokker, in multiple databases at the same time, b.la. EBSCO and Internet search akari engines. akari Grokker.com is in the process of making appointments but many other database hosts, among others. Faktiva and LeksisNexis. The free demo you can try is on Grokkers website and looking only at Yahoo, so search results are not quite as good. It works best with audited databases.

Greetings from Internet akari Librarian 2005 in Monterey, California. On this blog we write about our experiences and impressions of the conference and tour. Remember to use the "Comments" if you want to know more about some of the things that are being written.
