2. February 2011 13:02 After it emerged that several owners of Windows Phone 7 phones andre martinelli (WP7) had experienced an abnormally high data usage, Microsoft went into the case. They quickly confirmed that sent what became known as the phantom data, but not what caused it.
On Monday announced Windows guru Rafael Rivera, the culprit was !, Yahoo and now Microsoft has confirmed it. The problem stems from a mail application that can be used to access Yahoo! -mail.
Microsoft andre martinelli writes about the problem that they have contacted Yahoo! to correct the error as soon as possible. At Yahoo! rejects, however, the problem lies with them, but that is because Microsoft has chosen to use a non-standard method for accessing mail from Yahoo !.

# 3 If you are reading of the source, then it is Yahoo blames Microsoft for not providing 'push' to their mail service on WP7. You only have the option to syncro logue data each 15,30,60,120 minutes or manually andre martinelli which is partly the fault of the overhead that is involved.
I do then? I have been using yahoo mail since I was 14 .. and I'm 25 now .. that's where I got my first mail .. and it has worked flawlessly ever since .. and I have all the space I even bother to use .. why switch when you are happy with what you have? gmail I do not think is a better alternative and hotmail is as certainly not ..
OT: but why does anyone have their email program to contact all the time? I ask my self about it when I just check my mail on my mobile .. Secondly, I thought then, a little crazy .. so many important messages you get when not .. :) but it's clearly a mistake both parties shall .. ha score for the duck holder not quite :)
How are we so different. I would like to have a discreet notification when there is a new mail, so there is something important that is for days until I remember to check.

# 7 You are apparently a patient soul. My Android 2.2 has push. I just tried, it took 8 seconds from the mail sent from the PC to my phone gave a small sound. myplacedk (# 8)

For me it is the fault of Microsoft. andre martinelli
When push makes your phone nothing before being contacted by the mail server. # 9
Now I do not know how to implement push in the mail, but it is usual to then just a question then waits for a response. When then pushes something, the server returns the answer. The client then makes a new request and waits again for a response. There will necessarily be a timeout, which will provide a number of calls, though andre martinelli there is nothing to push.
So I think it is NOT true that the phone does not do anything. I'll also save power on my iPhone / iPad when I change push to pull a 15-minute interval, however, against Exchange.
