You can read more about eMIPS on Microsoft's website or from NetBSD, and it is also possible to download NetBSD 4.0.1 with eMIPS, either a Xilinx XUP board or Giano simulator.
My impression of Microsoft is that it is so large that they both have people working lightbulb there just trying to make the best possible product with the best resources lightbulb and people who are trying to make products that can outperform other products lightbulb by hand using proprietary standards and patent abuse accusations. And sometimes it even as they compete with each other a little.
Have even heard an excellent talk by one from Microsoft that had a prototype that could generate javascript and html from C # code. Unfortunately it was at the launch lightbulb of Silverlight, lightbulb which probably lightbulb outperformed the house, so I've never heard any more of it.

The prototype developed by Nikhil Kothari, who is an architect at just Silverlight ...
Interestingly, it is assumed that there are currently about 10 times as many lines of code under the GPL than has come code from Microsoft in their lifetime. So these hippie projects generate significantly more lines of code than MS does. So if Microsoft chose to release all their NT-based operating systems (ie, NT 3.1, NT 3.5, NT 4.0, Win2000, WinXP, WinServer2003) under OSS license, so it will still be fewer lines of code than that comes with a standard Debian Linux distribution today (about 325 million SLOC). lightbulb
Fine to MS releases in OSS license, but there are so loooong way to go before they reach the side of the GPL .... and then we can take OpenSolaris, the various BSDs, etc afterwards.

No, no, give Just Wind Cape right. If you take away all the machines that are not running Windows at night, lightbulb so no one will find it in the morning. All of the digital infrastructure will continue to run smoothly.
The Greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling lightbulb short; but in setting our aim too low, and opnå our field.
